Haringey seeks new Independent LSCB Chair
After three years service, our Chair Sir Paul Ennals is standing down and we are seeking to recruit a new Independent Chair for the Safeguarding Children Board.
Haringey has made significant progress in developing partnership working and improving safeguarding services for our children and young people. As Chair of the Haringey Safeguarding Children Board, you will strengthen and drive forward these partnerships to further improve outcomes for our most vulnerable children and families.
Crucial to this role is an extensive and proven record of working in a senior management role within safeguarding. You will have excellent leadership skills, in-depth experience of successfully managing partnerships, and significant demonstrable experience of negotiating and influencing.
The LSCB Chair will play a key role in implementing new arrangements in response to legislative changes affecting LSCBs. Your experience of leading change will enable you to champion our response to these opportunities.
If you believe you have the strategic vision and personal qualities to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people in Haringey, we would love to hear from you.
