Information sharing advice for safeguarding practitioners

Thursday 5 July 2018

Department for Education guidance on information sharing for people who provide safeguarding services to children, young people, parents and carers.

This advice is for practitioners and senior managers. It helps them decide when and how to share personal information legally and professionally.

It might also be helpful for practitioners working with adults who are responsible for children who may be in need.

This replaces ‘Information sharing: advice for practitioners providing safeguarding services (2015)’.
